Statement From Councilman Bill deBlasio on ParkingNOW! Ride To Work Day

New York City Councilman Bill deBlasio (D 39, Park Slope, Brooklyn) was unable to attend Wednesday morning's Ride To Work Day Press Conference with ParkingNOW and VCNY. The councilman reserved the steps of City Hall for the press conference, but at the last minute was unable to attend due to a family obligation.

City Removes More MC Parking

We just received reports that the city removed motorcycles parked in a small traffic island at 36th Street and 9th Avenue. Witnesses say that only cut locks and chains were left behind.

Others reported a similar scene on Lafayette Street between Spring and Kenmare just a few weeks ago.

Vespa Club of New York and ParkingNOW! are planning a Ride To Work Day rally and press conference on the steps of City Hall for Wednesday, July 20th. Meet at 8:30AM at City Hall, Press Conference will begin at 9AM.

ParkingNOW applies for NYU Wagner Capstone Team

ParkingNOW! submitted a proposal to the NYU Wagner Capstone Program. The Capstone Program assigns a team of graduate students to work on a project over the course of one academic year.
